About the Artist

Susan Watson is an artist living on the beautiful island of Kauai, Hawaii. This location with it's rich natural beauty and Hawaiian culture provides the perfect inspiration for her artwork. The Mosaic art form dates back thousands of years. Mosaics are often a part of architecture. Susan has taken this art form and sized it to be displayed in any location in your home. Changing the location of the mosaic will allow you to see it in a whole new perspective. Susan's specialty (though not her only subject) is Hula. Hula, a visually beautiful form of dance, speaks powerful stories, grace and beauty. Those who watch Hula are left with a lasting impression. It is Susan's mission to take these moments and preserve them for a lifetime in a Mosaic. Susan hopes that her work, will in some small way help to preserve Hula and Hawaiian culture.
